Rafael Nadal won a record 7th French Open title in 2012, beating Novak Djokovic in a rain affected final. He surpassed Bjorn Borg’s record of the most French Open wins (6). He also has an enviable record of 52 wins and 1 loss at Roland Garros. His only loss came at the hands of Robin Soderling, the eventual runner-up, in the 4th round in 2009.
